Westbury & District Cricket club is situated on the edge of the Salisbury Plain, in Wiltshire, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The club is based at Leighton Sports Centre, where we have our own excellent playing and bar facilities. The 3rd Eleven play their home games at Erlestoke CC a pictures Walled Ground.
In Conjunction with the national Institute of groundsman (IOG), the club is the venue for Autumn and spring groundsmen courses. In recent years the club has been honoured with best pitch awards. Westbury CC ground is a venue for the Wiltshire sides "Minor County" games and in 2003 had the prestige Wiltshire vs. Nottinghamshire C & G game awarded.
Westbury 1st & 2nd Team play in the West of England premier league (see links), with the 3rd Adult team playing in the Wiltshire League (see links). Sundays see a mixture of friendly, cup and touring sides. Mid Week games are played through out the Summer, with a team in the Wessex League and Cup, as well as friendly games.
There is a vibrant youth section - starting at under 9 Kwick Cricket, with teams in the Bath & District Youth League (see links), Wiltshire Sunday Youth League.
Training Nets start in February for both Youth & Adult, and Training sessions are held on specific days for youth & Adults, with sessions run by qualified ECB Coaches.
